Concept Pro Shop Chamonix, you’ll find us at 610 Route Blanche, 74400 Chamonix-Mont-Blanc, just a stone’s throw from the Aiguille du Midi cable car station. We’ve been trading here since 2013 and honestly, its more than just a shop – its a concept.
We’re a business that decides to go the extra mile when it comes to high-end gear for skiing, snowboarding, mountaineering & technical clothing and we offer a premium ski hire service, a high-performance workshop and a social space where you can chill before and after a big day on the slopes. As a business, we’re also mountain information hub, we keep our finger on the pulse, providing the local low down on weather and mountain conditions.
We’re open 7 days a week from 08:00 to 19:00, come & have a look around, we’ve designed our shop with a lively atmosphere in mind, its a welcome break from the more sterile environments you might find elsewhere, making it a must visit for freeride enthusiasts, piste skiers and back country tourers from all over France and beyond.

Our workshop is run by tech wizards with the latest precision tuning tech, making your gear perform like new, all within a shop not designed to look like every other shop.
Then there’s our Riders Corner – perfect for a morning coffee or afternoon apres-ski beer, set in a store thats a bit different, and we love that.
We’re a Völkl test centre with a whole section of the shop dedicated to all things Völkl. We’re the go to place for Völkl fans looking for expert advice, testing and tuning in one place.
Plus, were in the perfect location, right at the foot of the Aiguille du Midi and each brand has its own bit of space in our layout – no more crowed displays or everything stuck in a corner.
Location: How to Find Us & What's Around Us
Finding us is super easy – just head behind the Aiguille du Midi station on Route Blanche – you should be at our door in no time. There’s also a Chamonix SUD bus stop nearby, so you can get to Les Houches, Brévent, Flégère & Grands Montets with ease, and if you’re flying in you can arrange a Geneva to Chamonix shuttle transfer to get you to the valley without any hassle.
In the winter, this is the perfect spot for last minute rentals before you head out on a Vallée Blanche run. And in the summer, climbers and trekkers heading out into the surrounding mountains love the convenience.

We offer rental and test centre services, with gear from brands like K2, Marmot, and Blizzard. Our ski shop in Chamonix has a fantastic range of mountain equipment for rent, including mountaineering boots, crampons, ice axes, harnesses, climbing helmets, snowshoes and complete kits for any number of activities.
We also have technical clothing and accessories like Gore-Tex jackets, down jackets and headlamps available for rent. We’ve got the latest models of skis and boards so you can try before you rent or buy, unlike some other places, each brand is set up in its own space so you can get a feel for whats out there. The Pro Workshop: Where Precision Meets Passion
Our top-of-the-line workshop is the place where cutting-edge tech meets expert hands, featuring at its heart the Wintersteiger Discovery SS tuning machine. Dr. Dave, a name well-known in these parts as the top ski man in town, operates the machine with precision that’s almost surgical, like a conductor leading a symphony orchestra – every ski gets the fine attention it deserves.
A seasoned pro at what he does, Dr. Dave and his team offer comprehensive ski services, this includes base grinding, edge sharpening and waxing, all geared towards giving you that little extra performance and safety on the slopes. Regularly getting your skis properly tuned can really make a big difference in how long they last and how well they perform, so it’s a service no serious skier should be without.
But that’s not all, we also offer top-notch boot fitting services, including custom shell remoulding and footbeds, so you can be guaranteed the ultimate comfort and control.

We do custom boot fitting with shell work and liner moulding to get you perfectly set up

More Than Just a Shop - The Riders Corner & the Concept Experience
We’re not just a shop, we’re the hub of the mountain community. And we want to be the place you go to to unwind and socialise after a day on the slopes. That’s why our Riders Corner has become the most popular bar in town after skiing – where you can enjoy a great beer and swap stories with friends. We’re really excited to have Micro Brasserie Chamonix on board, bringing their legendary cold brews and lively atmosphere to our doorstep. With The Riders Corner concept, we want you to be able to enjoy a drink, meet up with mates and make your shopping experience a bit more fun.
Every Tuesday in peak season, we run a free beer powered “Beer & Tune” event – the perfect way to mix socialising with taking care of your skis. Just drop off your gear within the first 30 minutes, then grab a cold one from Micro Brasserie Chamonix while you watch our techs get to work on your gear. Loads of other ski shops run events like this, but ours is the only one that really feels like a community, with a lively vibe that keeps people coming back.
